Artstor debuted its redesigned organizational website.


Video in the Artstor Digital Library

ADL has its first videos! There are now 49 videos of performance art from Franklin Furnace available to subscribers.


James Dee Collection

Artstor launched the first batch of images from the 70 boxes of photographs we acquired from contemporary art photographer James Dee. Read more about the project here.


Digital Public Library of America

This year we contributed 85,828 images from 8 institutions to the Digital Public Library of America.


Shared Shelf by the Numbers

171 institutions with 1,066 projects.
8,584,709 media objects uploaded.


Shared Shelf Commons by the Numbers

166 collections with 287,647 images are currently available on the open web.


Built Works Registry

Early this year Artstor and Columbia University launched the Built Works Registry, a single shared repository of architectural works. The project is a community-based infrastructure for cataloging the built environment.
